This is my sweet little Blue Tongue's home. She was given to me just before we left Townsville. Poor dear was in a shocking way, tho you wouldn't think it now. She is missing toes, has scars behind her head and down her back and is missing a tiny tip of her bottom jaw. She was attacked by the previous owners dog, the other two didn't survive but she ran and 3 months later turned back up. They had nowhere safe to put her and were trying to give her to anyone that had a license. I took her home and tried to feed her what "normal" blueys eat but this gal ain't normal! All she eats is cooked pasta and chicken! Tiny amounts of fruit on occasion but not alot, ie one small strawberry only! But my Mum adores her and cooks her chicken and pasta specially for her! I ordered this from a tank company, it's 2m x1.5m x0.9m high. She has two logs, rocks and parsley to hide in. The towels are for added insulation cause it's been getting to minus 1 and 2 of a night here....BLINKING COLD after being in the tropics for 4 years!!!!

they didn't mind too much, they don't attract rodents like the guineas and birds do! That and they love the lizards
