Does anyone here live in WA and have some Sheba and/or long haired guinea pigs for sale? Pref show quality but doesn't have to be. Your price. Thankyou:)

I have Texels, Peruvians and Shelties but none for sale at the moment, I am keeping all my babies for showing. If you live in Perth, Cavy West are holding a show this weekend, that is a good place to start and to get information, they also have stock for sale etc.
Long hairs take a lot of maintenance - something to think about. My long haired cavies and rabbits tend to consume any spare moment that I may have. If you are going to show long hairs, they need to have their coat wrapped and be housed individually so that the coat doesn't get damaged. One clip or knot and they are unshowable.
Also there is a special section on the forum for posts about buying and selling. One of the admin people will probably move this post to that area.

wow, alotta work! lol I might only get one for showing then stick to the shebas for everything else. lol I actually live quite close to Bunbury, I live in Bridgetown, but I can only go to Perth in the school hols, that's when I bring a load of my guinea pigs down and hit the show circut! lol. Thanks for the heads up about the Wanted forum, I posted there but I thought I would post here too. Are you sure you don't want to sell any of your pigs? bummer lol

I can vouch for Helen's animals. I have a beautiful blue otter rex rabbit buck from her and he is just gorgeous. When the boys come back on they may be able to help or know someone who can.

hello, We dont have any long hairs or shebbas in our Cavy club. I haven't actually seen many shebba's over here in WA. The show is this Sunday in cannington check out the cavy west web site wa.ancc.asn.au/index.html and see if you can talk to perhaps Susan or Sharon, as they would be the likely ones to have what you are looking for. (Susan's email and phone is on the site) Alida is another lady in perth and her stud also has long hairs. Her phone number is on the site

I asked around at the show on sunday. There doesn't seem to be any shebas in WA at least within the club arena. However if you contact the people in my above post they will help you with long hairs and anything else
