Im not doing pics of anything any more until it is pulled for H/R as i have noticed it is stressing them a little !!
Well here is the weekly up date for 09/10/2006
All the baby Latino Ring necks except for the runt are fully feathered and Scaly Breasted Lorikeets are almost fully feathered as well
Normal Scaly Breasted Lorikeets back on 2 eggs
Lolo and Stich ( Normal Rainbows ) Have 2 baby's 1 week old !!! ( I did not even know they had eggs !!! )
Olive and Normal Rainbows have 2 eggs
Nanday Conure Pair 1 have 4 eggs ( I think 2 are infertile the other 2 are fostered from the 12 year old pair as they have broken 2 already)
Latino Split Red and Red Eastern Rosella on 5 eggs And the Mustard Scaly Breasted Lorikeet cock and the Split Dilute hen are on 1 egg so far this is there first clutch
2 baby King Quails were re homed to my mates place as he has the set up for them ! (1 of them was the Grey baby )
6 pairs of King Quails on eggs at my mates place (My birds)

Well its that time of week again but I have PIC'S this time !!!! Baby Lutino Ringnecks and Scalys coming along quite nicely!! Lutino Ringneck's back on eggs again 3 so far Lutino split Red cock - Red Hen Eastern eggs (I took these out today as they were infertile) The pair of Easterns that I have that are spouse be a Red Cinnamon cock and a Lutino hen are on 3 eggs so far BUY the bird (Red Cinnamon) that is supousto be the cock is laying the eggs so I might have 2 hens Normal Lorikeet baby's (Lolo & Stich baby's) Mustard cock - Split Dilute hen scaly on 1 egg (should hatch with in the next 3 weeks) Olive cock - Normal hen Rainbow Lorikeets on 2 eggs (should hatch with in the next 2 weeks) Normal Scalys back on 2 eggs (this is there second clutch) This is the 3 year old Nanday Conure Hen fostering 2 eggs from the 12 year old pair that I have as the 12 year old pair have broken there first 2 eggs !! This is my 2.5 year old Red Collar (I think its a Cock) This is my new pair of Red Collars (young Pair) This is my new pair of Muck Lorikeets they are also a young pair Im also getting a pair of Cinnamon Scaly Breasted Lorikeets this coming weekend (If everything goes to plan)

Looks like somebody is going to be a busy man soon!! LOL. I know how much work is associated with handraising and looking after breeding pairs dont worrry about that, its all good fun though and thats why we do it.

I went to my bird club president's house to make 100 + tables for our bird sale He has 167 Aviarys and there currently H/R over 100 birds and there are eggs under birds in the aviarys and 86 in Incubators !!! i counted : 47 ALXES 53 Ringnecks + others !!! Currently being H/R
NOW THAT IS BUSY !!!!!!!!!!

Holy Cr#P!!! Thats ALOT of handraising to do!!! Sounds like its all happening at your place to! On a smaller scale of course hehe. The ringnecks and scalies are doing really well! Good job I love your musks! I really want a pair but gota get my finger out of you know where an get my licence!!

wow, 100 babies, that would be a full time job for sure! he needs one of those dispensers like the ones behind a bar (pub) and just walk along the line squirting handrearing mix into waiting mouths!

He has 6 incubators with eggs in them 3 baby humidy cribs (like the ones in the hosiptals) 12 brooders He feeds the parents and looks after the aviarys And his wife feeds all of the babys They are retired so they have the time to do it !! P.S The Rainbow Pair (Olive cock and Normal Hen) have smash there eggs and eaten them NOT HAPPY JAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

We also pulled Lilo and Stich babys yesterday (Normal Rainbows) And we bought 3 more lutino babys there 4 weeks old !!
