Hmmm yeah well I wish!! I checked the boxes again today and they havent even been in there!! Rather disapointed I thought they would have gone down by now So sorry everyone no news to report

You never know when lorikeets will breed, mine used to breed all year round until about 12 months ago, since then I have had nothing.

They are very pretty birds. Maybe they just need a little more time to settle in and then there will be lots of bubs.

im not going to let mine breed for 3 months during winter as this is the time you loose most of your babys to the cold and it will also give them a little brake
Matt try changing there nest box (diff shape)
The first pair of normal scaily's i had did not breed for me at all and i had them 7 months i spoke to a guy at the bird club im a member of and he said with lori's some times they dis like there nest boxs He said to me to put 2 or 3 diffrent shape nest box's in for them to choose so i put a second one in and with in a week i had 2 fertile eggs Both you (Matt) and Nat should try this im 99% sure this will work !!!!

Thanks for that Mark! I didnt even think of that, I just assumed that they were happy with the one they have used before but they may have new preferences! I will put another one in there today and see if they like it better.
