Well obviously you can charge more for rarer breeds, and of course it depends on the demand!!! you can pick up fertile eggs for $10 a dozen, but thats pretty cheap. and the price goes up from there, so i think the average price would be around 20 - $30 a dozen, but it varies in different areas. then theres postage, if you want to post, and you would probly pick up more customers if you are willing to post! you can find out how much postage costs by going to the australia post website. there are links on there that will tell you how much postage costs, well i think thats about it! good luck!

Hey QueenF,
When you get going ill buy eggs off you!!!!
anyway back to prices, $20 - $35 a dozen is what people ussually expect to pay if the breed is rare then mabye a little more and if the eggs are x breed then mabye a little less. When i buy eggs individually i ussually am asked to pay $1- $4 an egg depending on the breed (xbreed eggs $1-$2 and pure breed eggs $3-$4) and as above mabye a little more or a little less. If people are selling eggs individually they ussually charge more that what the price would be for individual eggs in a dozen, i suppose its like a bulk buy discount for when you buy more.
Hope i have helped!

We normally sell fertile eggs for $12 a dozen. We have been told that is cheap but I always worry that there may be a bad hatch and I wouldnt want to seem like I was ripping someone off. If the breeds are not common I guess about $20 to $30 is acceptable.

Wow matt you really do sell them cheap! my ussually supplier usuualy charges me $30 a dozen if any are duds or dont hatch she will replace them fo free, another of my egg suppliers gets me to pay for eggs after the hatch so i only pay for what i get:) they ussually throw in a couple of spares if the breed isnt rare either.
