Hahaha we get the same thing. Chooks can be funny like that. I love wyandottes, they're just about my fave chooky breed especially the gold laced.

This one is a first btime mother but they usually take any babies you give them! The one with the peachicks hatched out nothing, I just gave her the peachicks one by one as they hatched and she accepted them, she is a great mother.

Bantams are great.
Buffy died during the hot weather a couple weeks ago and she had a little chick running around with her ... and Jojo stepped in and took over the babysitting after that. I couldn't believe it - so sweet. Especially seeing as the chick was old enough to look after himself - the hens don't normally accept them.
