Hi Peter and Matt. ;D This is a special request. As you know we are moving to a farm (hopefully only about 5 weeks to go) and as soon as I get the chook pen fixed up I want to get some beautiful chooks to lay lots of nice yummy eggs. well I figured you guys would be the best people to buy them from seeing as you have such a variety. Can you tell me what sorts you have. I want to get 3 or 4 bantams to use as "sitters" as I know they make the best Mums and probably a dozen or so hens and a nice big handsome rooster. (I am really partial to brown hens so a big reddish brown rooster would be nice) Rob said I should get 2 roosters but wouldn't I have to keep them separate to stop them fighting? Rob also likes speckled hens, what are these called, I know you have some of them. Are they Brahma's? Do you have Rhode Island Reds? What about Orpingtons, they're nice too! what about Americaunas which lay blue eggs...how cool are they!
Lastly how do you usuallly sell them? I have an incubator but might be easier to buy chicks do ya think?
I LOVE CHOOKS!!!! Did you guess that already

lol
we breed rhode island reds, anconas, bantam partridge wyandots and isa brown cross rohde island red. Do a google on the ancona and bantam to see pics, but i am sure matt and i have posted some here too. But if it comes down to any other breed of hen we could easily get some for you. Some cross bred bantam hens should be easy to get from my friend for you (they are the best!). Ill have a look around and see what I can dig up from other people.

Thanks Peter. Thats OK. What you've got already are some of the best anyway. Can I put an order in for some Rhode islands, and the R.I.R x isa brown, and definately the ancona as they are beautiful. Probably 4 of each for starters depending on what you have. Do you have many mature (laying age) hens that you want to sell? oh and can you save me a nice BIG Rhode Island Rooster pleease. What was that really huge rooster you had last time I was there? He was pretty special
