Here's the fam ... we have Angel and George at the front (George just CANT keep it in his pants), in the pond is Ethal and at the back is the new little fella (Cecil's sibbling)! Bath time for Donald ... ..... and Ruby, does anyone else have chooks that love water?

Some chooks do like getting wet with the hose or sprinklers, especially when its hot! The ducks look good, obviously still running the joint I take it.

Oh its beeen a looooonnngggg time since I had any control of this place!!! Ok Ruby is officially nutso ... I have a container under the back verandah that everyone drinks from (dogs, cats, chooks, ducks, everyone) ... and today being a tad warm meant I watched Ruby walk up to this container, take a drink, then step into it .... YES she was standing in it. All her undercarriage got wet! Strange ......

so cute! Loved the pictures. My chook used to love summer too. Her favourite thing was sitting on the lawn with me and the dogs all eating watermelon together. She used to sleep with my Dobermann and eat her dog biscuits too. She figured it was the only way to keep the foxes away. (and she was right because the rest got taken by a fox ) She also liked to come for a walk down the beach with me and the dogs but never actually went swimming
