These two are such characters ... When I took down the fence today it was like they came to life. They hate it down the back (dunno why) and were so much happier roaming the entire yard! They kept coming up to the back step and "flying" down to the back. I was stunned. They flap a lot but have never actually lifted off the ground. Is it "south for the winter" ... This is Ethal (Matt - remember how you asked me if they had bumps on their faces and I said no ... well this kinda happened overnight). And Fred ... And together ... I saw a "blue" one at the markets on Wednesday ... next one I see I am going to get ... hehe

Belinda you lied! Jokes. They do look like a Fred and an Ethel, that is a male and female with correct names to gender. However, I have been wrong before and they are still growing and colouring up so we will wait and see yet!

Cool - one of each!!
I tell you what - they are so much happier without that fencing up - and they are staying down the bottom too which is great. I'm gonna go "fenceless" for a while and see how it goes!!
