LOL Lucy actually suits her face! Still couldn't bring myself to own one maybe cause I grew up in the bush and they were vermin but I do handle the baby ones at work!

Yeah I want to get another female now to keep her company. I would like to get a black hooded I think. The colours would compliment each other. Then to build a nice big cage for them!! I have ideas in my head what I am going to do already!!

She is so cute!! I used to keep rats when I was younger. I remember not telling my mum when I got my first one and he used to live in a cardboard box in my wardrobe when I was at school. Whats that you say ... rats chew through cardboard ... really?? LOL well yes he did and yes mum walked into my room at the same time as he shot across the room and I honestly can't say who was more frightened. I had to move him outside after that But it was a big thing at school amongst my friends so we used to take them to school and they would live in our school shirts while we were in class! I still remember a friend of mine putting her hand up one day to ask a question and her's popped its head out through a hold in the armpit!! LOL

LOL @ Sparkles, thats hilarious. I considered getting one in primary school when everyone else was getting them but I have enough wild ones to kill so I have never stepped over that line.

My cat is a great mouser and ratter so I have to make sure she is outside before I even think about letting my rat or birds out!! She has bought home a few rats and heaps of mice, but the ferel ones are ugly! Pet ones are so much cuter!

Mine is getting a bit nippy at the moment, if you stick you fingers in the cage look out! i need to stop giving her treats between the bars I think! She bit poor little Scooters toes this morning! He was sitting on her cage and I heard a squark! his little toes were bleeding! Not a hpppy little birdie!

That's why if you have a rat problem around your home you have to do something about it quickly....rat's are known to eat birds!!!

my rats used 2 dive at the edge of the cage 2 try and get molly weneva she was out, they realy disliked her, i used 2 have a champien (ruby) dexta was my tan hooded, and peanuts was my black hooded, i used 2 always get black hooded babys from peanuts. but ruby used 2 gie me tri colour? it was realy strange coz sum of her babys would also have blak in them even tho she had no black on her, she was a great breeder but she wwould get realy defensive wen she had bubs and lunge at the cage threatning any1 2 go near it.... she was also good at taking chunks out of you finger if you did get 2 close 2 them She is so cute!! I still remember a friend of mine putting her hand up one day to ask a question and her's popped its head out through a hold in the armpit!! LOL i used to take dexta to school with me ALL the time in year nine, everyone at school knew and loved him (even if i didnt know them ) and i used 2 sit him on my shoulder while i went riding on my bike and lots of people had a good stare lol
