it's hard to count them cause as soon as you uncover them (they hide under the water dish) They all start to scatter but I think there is 15...give or take a couple! When they grow big enough to be fed small crickets (which you can buy from the pet store) I will sell them

Cool! They have coloured up heaps! How much are scorpians worth? I have never seen them kept privately here, the zoo has a heap of invertebrates on display in the nocturnal house now and they are all really interesting.

That depends on where you are and who's selling them! I purchased my first scorpion for $12. In Townsville the don't sell for less than $60 in pet shops and about $20 to $25 privately. It also depends on the species too, the central desert is the most expensive because they are harder to keep, witht he forest being the cheapest and most common.

Wow that is huge compared to wht they were, lol. Still tiny though. Here in Toowomba you are looking at about $75 + for a scorpion!! I dont think I will get one hehehe ewww. I thought they were poisonous?? Or can you get Non-poisonous ones??

They all have poison....it's just at different levels. These ones are like a bad bee sting, there are some in the US that can quite easily kill a adult human. But with Aussie ones it's not so much the tail that is your problem....it's the front end that gets you first!
