I wouldn't go getting too excited. Lots of birds have the yellow feathers pop up, but it can be due to diet, stress, scaring. Does not always mean it is carrying the pied gene. The only way to kow would be through a breeding program, either with a bird that is already pied, a split, or with it's offspring. Even then you may never know, as the bird might breed normals that are split to a pied or a split pied, and you dont know if the offspring she would produce with a normal bird have inherrited the pied gene, if it is pied.
That said, birds that carry the pied gene dont always show they are carrying it with feathers like that. You might be lucky!

I know that in Green Cheek Conures the Yellow feathers that develop can be attributed to an all seed diet. I've bought a few like that and it's a real B.I.T.C.H to wait until they molt out. And getting them on a better diet is even worse.
