Checked the box this morning and both babies have been severely attacked and the parents have abandoned the babies. I brought them inside and examined them & gave them a feed. Unfortunately I had to put the youngest one down due to the extant of it's injuries. The older one I am giving a small amount of food to every 1.5 hours - difficult job as it's lost half it's upper beak. Not sure if it will make it but I'm hopeful.

Bub is doing great! I've named him Tiger - he has great fighting spirit. Tonight he has even been begging for feeds & cuddles.

No, I haven't given it alot of thought. I gave him a bath today and he has a bit more than half a beak but it will be pretty deformed if/when it grows. I bought a tube of canary/finch seed the other day. Hopefully he might be able to eat some of that.
