I think you have got the breeding paln down packed! It sounds really good. I dont like it when people breed parrent to offspring. I like the idea of breeding to 2 males and then pairing off the young.
I am really happy that she is getting along so well with the males. That is really promising.

Thanks everyone....feels right to me.... And Peter,..cant thank you enough for your guidance too..... So shes out there in the wild night.....scared, frightened......with her boy!!!!.. Actually nah..she couldnt give a stuff...it was me who was heartbroken putting her outside in her "games room".....avairy looks really nice......just feels funny not having her inside driving me nuts.....and when I walk past her outside she does that depressed dont leave me whistle..... Lots of wing displays from both birds and head bobbing....but distance too atm.....the other male is isolated from them and he keeps calling her and being rather interested.....hmm...lets see what tomorrow brings..... OMG!!! the scaleys...they are in there own avairy now..and what a crack up...they are so spirited and funny.....looking forward to getting home from work tomorrow so I can watch....them all....and hold and cuddle the scaleys......plus my girl......

Scaleys are sooooo cool. It'll be interesting to see the dynamics between D*ckette and the boys.

I see you got sucked in too and brought home birds. We went back to "measure" the aviary on Sunday and came home $160 less. We now have a pair of green wing pigeons and lots more accessories. The scaleys are cute, ours spend all day in the nest box but when they decide to venture out they play and squeak and carry on like theres no tomorrow. Less malice in them than the red collars I have noticed too! Good luck with Dickette and her man, seems like she is obsessed already the hussy. It will only be a matter of time before bubs I think.

Dont fink they like D*ckette...
Martin has changed her name to the "Freak"..he feels because of her colours they are now avoiding her..the only bird with the slightest interest in her is the male scaley....
Them scaleys..they crack me up....the funniest birds Ive ever watched.....such personality.......

It takes time for them to bond. Some pairs do it immediately but others may take a month or more before they are really bonded. Some pairs will never bond and the only solution is to get another mate. Hope they start producing soon though!

Well since I put this post up yesterday about the "Freak"...theres been lots of odd noises and head bobbin happening...and the odd foot going on her back.....
IVe discovered if she sees me outside she comes to me on the wire and ignores him....does the "I miss you" whistles..."let me outta here" calls...
They appear to be "courting"....maybe??....So I have to stay outta sight to her.....
Fingers crossed....
