Mum is very very upset and has decided to turf her eggs I am moving her into the aviary in the next couple of days

I am just worried about her partner...he doesnt seem to know how to fly properly...he has gaps in his wings

they arnt exactly injured... he has been in a cabinet his whole life... so he doesnt know how to fly properly

You can try him in the avairy and just watch how he goes... I have a Crimson Wing Hen who has a broken wing and gets around my avairy fine... But if you think he isn't doing too well in the aviary then put him back in the cabinet...

Oh another idea is, try to put him in the avairy for short periods of time so he can still get exercise and maybe he will learn to fly a little better too...

if he cant fly, make sure he is able to get to food and water easily (like walk to it via a perch or some wire mesh)
