Ours are called Pip and Pop (from the two otters on Bear in the big blue house for those Mums and dads reading this)
And yes I agree they are definately cute and funny. especially when they hop up and down and tell you off

It starts.....haha. They are really nice birds hey, we have 2 pairs here. Both have attempted nesting without success so far, cant wait for a successful breeding with them. Good luck with your pair!

Scaleys are great little birds, I am handraising 4 of them at the moment and they are great. One of my lil cinnamons in particular is just so loveable climbing up my sleeves. You will have great fun with these little guys.

Bubbles, I have heard they make pretty good handraised pets but I am a bit wary considering that they make enough mess outside where I have to hose out their cage everyday, so pretty sure I don't want that sort of problem inside. How are you handling the situation? Ours have been doing "the business" and spending a fair amount of time in their nestbox. As we are still in doubts about just when we will be able to move, it is possible I may have to handrear some so thought I'd ask. Jen

They are quite messy, I put a shower curtain up behind the lorikeet cages and peg it around and that way I can just hose off the shower curtain outside. They are the cutest little hand raised pets they love climbing inside clothes and pockets. If you change their newspaper every day or even every two days it really isnt a problem.
