OMG!!!!!!!!! I did it!!!!!!!!!!! I am so very happy to introduce everyone to.............. drumroll............ HERBIE................................   got him yesterday from a bird breeder! most money I have EVER spent on anything at once......... He is on about 2 feeds a day apparentently........I am so excited |

He / she is so loud when It wants food! he just wants to cuddle all day.

He cost 6800, which wasnt too bad for what he is...... cecil is a bit unsure of him! He is going to get free run of the house. I am making him a giant play gym

CONGRATS PETER..... can't believe you went and got one. You're going to have a ton of fun with him.
Just some FYI too...
From those photo's I would probably assume he is on at least 3 - 4 feeds a day. The Blue & Gold & Scarlet macaws I raised last year weren't on 2 feeds a day until they were fully feathered.
How many cc's/ml's of formula is he taking at the moment? Boy they get loud don't they. Just remember that is only a glimpse of just how loud they will be when they're older.
LOL - you may want to reconsider giving Herbie free run of the house too.
