I thought I had already posted this, but I must have only posted on galaxy ooppps. Well here is Charlie-Rose my newest bird. I adopted her from the RSPCA for only $5!!! She has an unhealed broken wing, but she is no pain and gets around fine. She is very quiet and rather friendly so I am hoping I can tame her.

Yeah she is a great bargain at $5! She is alot tamer than I first thought!! She loves a scratch and I had her out of her cage tonight for a while and she just wondered around the room amongst me and the kids, wasnt at all worried about us!! We were more afraid of her! LOL! I think the people that handed her into the rspca had her from a young bird for about 9 months, I have been told they found her with a broken wing after being hit by a car, and took her in as their pet. so I guess she was once wild? But if she was you would never guess it now!! She is a bit wary of hands (unless its for a scratch) and I tried putting my arm up for her to step up onto but she not fond of that either. I have been trying to teach her to step up on a perch instead for now. She is doing well
