So excited, Here is my new baby Eclectus, he is only about 3 weeks old and he will not come home for a couple of weeks but i love him already. No idea what to name him yet.

looks like a he to me, maz (the lady jens getting him from) took a look @ the feathers under a magnifine glass . Also you can see green at the tips of the pins on his wing

Yep He is most Definately a HE!!! or I wouldnt be getting him. You can see quite a bit of green pin feathers and even a green tinge to his head so the picture probably doesnt give an accurate image. One of the best things about Ekkies is it's so easy to know what your getting! Another sign is that the males have grey down feathers while the females are darker almost black apparently. He already weighs 300 grams at least. I think he's gunna be a big boy

His beak also has colour whereas the girls have a black beak.
