Clever girl, not very good ears but what a coat!!!!! I am going to the show this Sunday To finish off some of the paperwork as I am determined to show next year. I do know that a lady from Mandurah? has been focusing on plush lops.

Just to add to this post- it seems that many pet shops do not realise that long haired rabbits NEED TO BE BRUSHED!! i went into a pet shop the other day and they were cutting of a poor little bunnys hair because it was matted to the skin- i asked them how it happened without their notice and the ignorant young counter lady -who reckons she is going to be a pet shop manager- told me "oh its because she is too lazy and stupid to groom herself properly" i almost slapped her, i gave her a good lecture on how no they arent stupid or lazy and she knows how to groom herself it is because of human intervention that her hair is this long (dunno if thats true but sed it anyway) and she NEEDS to be brushed everyday and whoever buys her needs to know that!!!! she was a bit miffed and didnt answer me - i almost bought the rabbit and walked out of the shop - but i didnt want them to get more in and i was satisfied that they were clipping it so i held back

Don't get me started on the ignorance of these people. The Pet Industry Association was supposed to be bringing in regulations that people who operated / owned pet shops had to pass a test on pet care before they could get a 'licence' to operate that was over 4 years ago and it still hasn't happened.
