I Got 2 pairs of King quails, a silver and a cinnamon, about 2 months ago, they havent started laying any eggs yet. How long does it take for them to settle in?? thanks

I would have thought that they would have settled in by now but I am not an expert. Hopefully some one else may be able to help you more.

You would think that they would be. Everything at my place is either busy making babies or in the the case of my rabbits just trying to mate with anything else in sight and the does are frowning at me giving me that "give me a man right now or you'll be sorry look".

It Can take a little time to get King Quails sttled and breeding anw with the cold weather its not helping (even my chickens have stoped laying ion the cold weather) But as soon as spring sets in they should start going down for you
Mine took a little time to get them going now i cant stop them we are removing around 20-40 babys a month from 4 breeding trios (1xcock - 3xhens)

The Jap quail babies are the cutest things you will ever see I recon, but read my warning on your introduction post! I won't repeat it all here. It is amazing to watch them hatch in the incubator. One minute there is nothing there and then "POP!!!" out they come. So cool Jen
