Confusing because it has a yellowish face but typical whiteface colouring like you say on the body. If I was shown just the body I would suggest whiteface pearl pied. but with the head it seems to be a pearl pied with light markings, maybe it is a split whiteface. Sorry I cant be of much help here.

I am still convinced its a pearl pied as I have seen them a few times come up light like that. How old is he/she? It may also be carrying the cinnamon gene.

Bubbles.....I "think"....Jules felt it was a cinnamon pearl pied....where is Jules when ya need her???....Cinnamon would that come from the male???... She is about 10 weeks old..... Holly...me learning too..but I think its a girl..cause shes picked up the pearl and pied from Baby..so wouldnt that make her a female if shes picked up those genes from her mother.. ??.....with time the cheek patches will indicate the sex..... I am not sure either....maybe next time Peter drops in he can have a look and gives us an idea..

aw k good point, c i know NOTHING about genetics, lol the amount of times jen and rob have tried 2 explain it and i just stand there nodding my head but i thort it might have been a male because of how bright the cheeks look and in that 1st pic it looks like its loosing the stripes off the tail. but thats only from the pic so i cant really tell. iv started to sex my weeros threw wing spots aswell, not sure if u can c them well on that one but i think it goes dots - male, stripes - female good luck anyways! its a stunner

I understand a little about the genetics side but by no means a expert....lol...Ive found that all the babies until they are about 6 months old have extremely bright cheek patches...the stripes and dots??...yup heard about that but Ive found it to be unreliable...only good for common greys....
Time will tell the sex...either that or one of my high sex males!! lmao..

Well to have reached that outsome both parents have to be carrying both the pied and pearl gene. If it is a cinnamon it is definately a hen as with this coupling they would only produce hens of this mix. I think you can be sure its a she Well she is a hottie I am sure one of your males will snaggle her up in no time. Cockatiels are the only birds I can say 100% what each coupling will bring but then you get the splits.

she is cute renee! You breed some beautiful weeros!
holly, it depends on what the birds are split to. But if they are split to nothing at all you'll get grey males split pearl and cinnamon, and pearl females.
