well one pair has settled in very well even using there box at night to sleep but the other 2 pairs still sleep hanging on th the wire and dont use their boxs yet ! so i hope they settle in soon but i have some time yet as they wont breed for at least 4 months that should be long enough i hope.

the only problem with green cheecks is they are very hard to sell the normal variety and now the cinnamons are not selling. i friend of mine was one of the first to get the cinnamons 3 years ago. he paid $15,000 for a cinnamon cock bird. now you can buy a pair for $3,000. they have dropped that much in 3 years. you only have to look at pet link. every second add is people trying to sell green cheecks. all i`m saying to you eagle is just get to many as they will be very hard to sell next year. unless you are asking $100 a bird because thats all they will be worth, because people will just keep dropping there prices to sell them. this happened to the red rumps about 3 years ago and it is starting to happen with the princess mutations as well.

Im Lucky in the fact that Ive got 3 whole sailer's to supply in 3 states when they arrive i know one guy in Sydney who will buy the lot if he has the room as he supply's around 40 pet stores in NSW (always buying all kinds of birds) but I'm not breeding them to make money just as long as they pay for them selves and I'm using them as a steeping stone to move into other conures one cock bird i have is split cinnamon and 2 others are poss split pastel blue, cinnamon or yellow sided the guys paper work and sexing certifies were destroyed buy some hungry race horses they also got in to the seed bags and fruit making a hell of a mess so i could even end up with some mutations if I'm lucky Thanks for the info though Eagle

I have recently bought 3 pairs of green cheeks 1 pair are in a aviary buy them selves on one side of the yard the other 2 pairs are in 1 aviary subdivided with wire on the other side when i put the second pair in today they were fighting through the wire they took about 20 min to settle down and they seem fine now could this cause further problems ? Green Cheeks are very aggressive, more so than Lovebirds Double wiring is the only way to stop fights, otherwise, you will see a lot of lost toes and blood when the breeding season comes
