Hey Mark, let me know how much the going price is for albinos, I have no idea what I should ask for them, some prices seem ridiculous.

hi guys n girls i am new to the site and found it as i was google searching albino redrumps . its my first year of breeding in my aviary and my redrumps laid 6 eggs sadly the chicks died in shell so i too them out . she then laid 5 more and one hatched although i know at least 1 other died in shell. the one that has hatched is an albino it has red eyes and only white feathers coming through. when i spoke the bloke i got my pair from who is well into his birds he said he had never seen or hear of a albino redrump. i now know they are possible but are they rare as not many to see on the bnet. i will post pics soon as its still mainly fluff with the quills just opening up. also this year i have 7 yep 7 cockatiels in one box all pieds that will be out of the box in a week or so and have already had 2 greys out so good for my first year. i put 2 pairs of buddgies down but one pair did nothing the other have laid 12 clear eggs any suggestions ? chow for now ross southend on sea england i9.photobucket.com/albums/a76/LittleBudgie2005/Smileys/OzPets-Bye.gif[/IMG]

We bought one off Matt and Peter before we moved to the farm. The first week here a darn owl got it which is why all our avairies are now covered with bird netting in a tent fashion. Was absolutely spewin that it was the first to go.

They are not too uncommon now the albino red rump. The albino genetically is a blue lutino.
Still prob fetch as much as $100 depending on how things go
