I have never seen a pied king like that before!
How did you come about the mutation? Did you buy into it? or where you lucky enough to breed it yourself? Do you have any pied males?
Would love to hear more about them all

Hi Peter, I have a mature breeding pair (the pic I posted is the hen) that I obtained from a friend in what could only be called a large scale trade, it is an interesting mutation which I am still researching as the young vary greatly in Pied markings ranging from only a few feathers to birds with full yellow wings etc. I will hopefully post a few more pics of my birds this week.

Sounds very interesting! My understanding is that pied is a random pattern mutation, so could give rise to why some are more heavily pied than others. Best of luck with breeding and would love to see more pics!
There are a few mutations out there of kings now, I have seen pics of grey greens and blues and lutinos.
