thanks heaps guys! my babys doing pretty good except one thing, when i try 2 feed her she starts sneezing, and all her food comes back out of her nose! (i dont think thats a good sign), not only that, sumtimes she sneezes so much and so hard that she throws her food back up again and there4 isnt getting enuff food, she also doesnt eat like she used to, i have 2 litrally force feed her just to get anything down! Iv got honey and peanut butter mixed into the food so she doesnt loose to much weight, also i am giving her something called polly aid (bird med) but its still not gonna help if she cant keep it down and to make it worse! i dunno how 2 crop feed!. if ANYone thinks they can help me out in any way PLEASE feel free! i need as much help with her as i can get! the vet brang her back 2 life and now its up 2 me 2 keep her like that so plz help! thankyou!
(i am posting this on as many sites as i can!)

i would have thought a good avian vet would have kept the bird overnight or a couple of days until it was better or at the very least feeding properly again.
take it to Ray Butler. he used to be open for an hour on sundays, give him a ring in the morning. otherwise on monday to ray butler or Tim Oldfield, they are the only 2 avian vets I've heard of friends going to or talk about. (i go to ray butler)

I had a similar probem with my alex's when they were starting to reach the age where they were ready to leave the nest! they refused to eat much at all, and would spit back most! I was told it was because in the nest when they are ready to fledge they try and loose some wieght befor eflying, and also to help them get onto wild food! is she healthy otherwise?
the vet did keep her over night and the next day didnt they?

How old is she now Holly? As Peter said, it might cause she's starting to fledge. Im starting to have that problem with Gem Gem, he's like 7weeks old now and getting a little fussy about his food. Im not sure at what age they are meant to fledge but im guessing its about now. If you're still really funny about him eating, I would take him back to the vet so they can study her eating over night. That would make sence to me. -comfort- Let us know if there is anything we can help with or what happends.

shez 9 weeks old as of last thurs going onto 10, i saw her eatting some seed this morning but i still have 2 try and get some fat into her ontop on that, shez REALY thin at the moment! i can feel her brest bone perfectly. so untill i can put some wieght on her i cant let her live off seed wich is a shame. i might be forced 2 crop feed her wich i dont think im willing 2 do. im going to take her back to our vets 2moro for a check up and some antibiotics and ill let you all know how i get on!
Birdz - is there anyway you can PM me with the address of the vets that you talked about? i might go there instead if my vet dosnt seem to work, thankyou!
