Very nice. Do you get to show them over there? I can't remember if I asked you before. There is only a very small mouse club over here and the WA Aus Rodent fanciers closed early last year so we really don't have anywhere to show our rats and mice or get together with other fanciers.

You would think that they would be more popular and more clubs around. There are so many interesting varieties around now and they are such a good pet both to breed and to look after.
I think that with both rats and mice people still can't get past the yuck factor of the wild rodents and don't realise that they are so vastly different.

Yep, i get the 'yuck' factor often *sigh*. I try to explain they are different from wild rodents, and that even i'm not fond of the wild ones *L*....they cannot understand the difference. Its quite sad.
Fancy (pet) mice and rats are wonderful critters

yeah u should have heard me try to explain to my shire that my rats were pets not wild , they come to their names e.t.c , all they could say is their rats there vermin we don't allow them , i still kept them but until i couldn't look after them myself
