I wish you lived closer and I would beg you to let me borrow him for a while. I am looking for a new boy to mate with my girls. He would be perfect.

Wow, that is expensive. I suppose there is an awful lot of mice in a kilo? Is that full grown or fuzzies? At that price it almost makes me wish that I didn't like my mice so much!!!!

We have a deal with a company at work, they supply mice and rats weekly frozen and each week we would go through about 100 mice and rats on my section alone, let alone the exotic section too, its a huge business!

The amount of mice per kilo does depend on the size, ours aren't pinkies or fuzzies, kinda middle sized with some big ones thrown in. We have 4 kookaburras and 3 tawny frogmouths who eat them so they do disappear pretty quick. When we don't have mice we use sliced up lamb hearts coated with insectivore mix and wrapped in dog hair. Mmmm yummy LOL

I'm glad I read that at tea time. lol.
It would be a good business, growing all the time with more and more people getting into reptiles etc.

What a cute lil rat, I can understand exactly what you are doing amanda and I think its a great idea. I am not a rat and mouse person especially when they are in my house harassing my birds.

No Girlies yet... they should be turing up in store on Thursday. I'll be in there first thing to choose him some beautiful ladies. He's such a spunky little guy... Shane has him trained to come up for treats already! He climbs out just to get something yummy!
