They will if your acting silly with them, they can nip you too! She was playing dead that's why I sat her in my hand, their sting it like a bee or a wasp's sting just darn painful. That's the first time I've handled one of my scorpions I don't believe in just picking them up by grabbing their stinger. I'm going to get a desert on Thursday and there is no way in hell I'm sticking my fingers in with her.... she is HUGE and incredibly aggressive too. When I get her I'll definately post some pictures of her, she is truely spectacular to watch feed..... that's all I do at work now is feed and watch the scorpions, then I come home and do mine ;D

Ohhh ok i was picturing scorpions becoming the next big thing, being carried around in hand bags and walked on leads... i like animals that are not for touching...like one of my lovebirds...definatly not for touching she nips too
