Our grassparrots have had their box for months now and for the past week our hen Lydia had been spending a lot of her time out of the box so I asked Shane to take it out if he had the time on Sunday, mainly because her first clutch of 4 eggs were clear. Of course he forgot so I asked him to do it this afternoon (he is taller) and when he had got the box out I had a sticky inside to see how many eggs were in there and to see if they were clear too. OH boy did we get a fright when there were two fluff balls in there! One is a definate lutino but we aren't too sure on the second. Just wondering if anyone could guess their age? We don't know and weren't paying much attention because of the first clutch being all clear eggs. I just hope we didn't disturb them too much, mind you the first time I cleaned it out she went straight back in.

They are redrumps, Mum is Lutino Dad is normal/lutino/blue. Can't wait to see them grow up! It was such a shock. Also as of 8pm tonight a pair of our angelfish started laying eggs. We are at our wits end as to what to do with them but we'll get there. Oh boy what a day! we are trying to think of what the next thing will be

Well unless the mum is also split blue, the one with the yellow eyes will be a lutino! The other will either be a male green split lutino, or just a green hen. Not incluiding the split blue in that last bit!

Hi Amanda, Gotta love those red rumps, they are great breeders, Peter was right, I would say you will get lutinos and greens. Some will also be split blue and some cocks green split lutino.

Oh a little boy! Think I'll cry with joy! Something tells me I'll keep him too The Job is going great! Love it there and wish I spent more time there. They have built a new fish room and it's HUGE! need a ladder to catch the fishies at the top tanks (it's cause they are high, not cause I'm short!) But I'm working tomorrow and loving every second of it.
