Hey all I know this is an old post, but thought I'd give you an update on some info I got today. I joined a group at uni today to do surveys on the canarby white tails on campus. I asked if anyone had seen the pied one I saw last year, and YES, YES THEY HAD!!! I wasn't imagining it. But the called it an Albino! I was like...NO, NO IT ISN'T! Hence the black patches! They have pics of it and it was all recorded and given to the bird societies of Australia and stuff like that! I hope I see it again while we are doing the surveys, Apparently No one has seen it in a while, and they said it was being singled out from the flock by the others.... so they think it may have died...

wow.... thats awesome except for the bird going missing i saw a dilute pink n Grey not far from my work

hi all maybe with the white tail it bcould of been trapped because with the pied red tail once the news had gotten out a few people were out looking for it and then it was caught so yeh that might of happened because there was news of a pied wt in the talking bird paper a few years back i a large flock thanks fincher
