I think this is a wake up call Peter, always carry your camera around ;D That would have been quite a sight, i would love to see a Blue Red Cap. It is wonderful to see mutations in the wild, there is a Crow in my area that looks to be a Dilute mutation? It is light grey/silver colour. But like you, i didn't have my camera when i saw it

Thats it! I AM NEVER LEAVING THE HOUSE WITHOUT MY CAMERA AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At Murdoch University today with my friends, I was enjoying the regular site of the large flock of white tailed black cockatoos that often feed from the pine trees growing on campus, when I notice something wasn't quite right with one of them. Doing a double take (that almost broke my neck) I watch as one of the birds flew off, that had large white patches all over it! THATS RIGHT, A PIED WHITE TAIL! I was so excited I called matt. Then I saw it again! So exciting, I wanna go chase it for photos! It was unusual, as I have seen pics of pied red tails, and pied yellow tails (which were yellow and black), but this bird was white and black
My friends, who wouldn't tell the difference between a crow and a budgie, couldn't understand why I almost wet myself with excitement

WOW that sounds amazing. You'll have to have your camera superglued to you so you don't ever go out without it.
