Good job Mark! One question, how do the birds go with both ends open? Is there a problem with wind draughts through or is there a cover you can put on one end? They look excellent, you have really made a good job of the aviary making these days!

Thanks guys Matt All of the suspended aviarys ive built have open ends wit no covers so far I have not lost any birds to draft or cold as yet (fingers crossed) To be honist none of my birds have bred in them as yet im starting to think this could be the reason im going to give it a nother few weeks to a month and then if none of my lorikeets start to lay im going to enclose the half of the back on the nest box side and then see how it goes !!!!

Would the suspended be suitable for finches or not? ? Hi Kim I build all of my aviaries my self (except for the ones i bought when i first moved here (which are now for sale) Finches are ok in a suspended BUT to enjoy them full beauty i would recomend a conventional aviary Here are pic of all the aviarys i have built from the first to the last This is the first one i built there not as good as the aliminum ones but i did not have contacts to get the aliminum at this time !! I built 2 of these 2 bay suspendeds each section is 900 wide 900 high 2400 long Back This is the second one i built it is a 2 bay conventional 1800 high 1000 wide 1500 deep This is the 3rd one it is a 4 bay suspended built just for musk and scaily lorikeets each section is 700 wide 1200 high 1500 deep \ This is the 2 bay suspended i built it Measures 700 wide 1200 high 1500 wide And now the last its 1200 wide 1200 high 2400 deep This is the chook pen i built
