Our neighbours gave us a 28 parrot that they found on sunday. Looks like he was hit by a car, or clipped in the wing by a bullet. We wormed, medicated and fed him. Kept him in a warm dark place. Now he seems lively and happy, except he cannot use his wing at all. It looks bad. I dont think he'll fly again, so he'll have to have a home in an aviary where he can climb around just fine. (Anyone want to give him a good home?)

lol, That was what I was hoping for bel! lol We have had them as birds that were hit by cars, one that couldn't fly, and one that couldn't fly AND was blind in one eye. They lived for years, and even bred!

Glad Bel will give him a good home, he has settled in ok and is eating fine so far. It always amazes me how they can so easily recover from shock sometimes.

YAYAYAYAYAYAYYAAYAY - you boys soooooooo knew I was gonna jump at this one - tease!! I love giving a good home to the "special" ones!! My parents could never understand why I always picked the odd ones LOL Yes it is amazing how quickly they recover - I guess in the wild it's survive or die really isn't it. I have always thought them to be a bit "tougher" than the domestic breed birds to!?! Now a name ......??

LIES! I never said any suck thing! lol
Hope milo settles in well! His wing should heal a little better! And once he realises he cant fly with it, he should stop trying so much. He should settle down soon.
