Makes me wonder why some are really angry and some are so placid, can anyone tell me why?

the more placid ones are usually used to cars and people from a young age. This guy lives on a station (well hes in woolies now) and probbly hadnt seen a person before so was trying to ram his way through the fence into us.

Some of the cattle that have seen cars and people from a young age are still nuts though. There mum mighta been a nutter and taught them to be nutty too - sometimes its just in their nature to be more flighty.

I thought that might be the case. I've met some real sooky bulls in the past and they just melt your heart. I love cows, love their faces :)

Transporting an aggressive munchkin would NOT be easy tho!

There has been a paddock in particular that I have been trying so hard for the past year to get a photograph of it's inhabitants.... y'all would never believe what they are. I won't spoil it but I have been travelling with my camera to get a pic of them!

PS...Wonder what the mystery inhabitants of paddock X are? Horses? Camels? Buffalo! Will have to wait and see I guess.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Bourbon in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride"

The paddock is about an hours drive south of here, about 10 minutes from Kilcoy. We pass it every time we go to Caboolture. When I first saw them I wanted to leap out of the van doing 100Kph and climb into the paddock and take them all home!!!! These are my all time FAVOURITE animals.
When I first saw them I said to myself "Matt and Pete would NEVER believe me!!!!"
So I have been trying to get a photo ever since!

I remember after 6 months in melbourne, when we reached the outskirts of the city I was so excited to see cows again! I'm such a country bumpkin at heart.... just don't follow the country music LOL

oooh a mystery!!! you will have to get a picture?!! are they deer??? thats the only thing that i can think of lol? i like deer - if they wernt so hard to contain id keep some , but naaaah to hard [image]

Lol he didnt wanna go on the truck, we cut their horns right back (or in his case just take the sharp tips off) before they go on, weve had a few cases where smaller bulls get gutted by the bigger ones on the truck. - not pretty, so now we just cut their horns before they go on, stops alot of trouble! they dont like it much though, i guess it probably feels like your finger being cut off.... :'(

it's nothing normal, these guys have the best hobby farm ever! Banded cattle, murray greys, water buffalo, camels, donkeys, horses, deer, an emu but these guys top the cake! I've never seen these "kept" before!!!!
Like I said I've been trying for a year, fingers crossed next time I go past (cause it's getting really warm now) they will be out for me to see and not miles away from the road in the back paddocks!
